Monday Evening Training Begins In May

A Rotary Wing Training Helli is available for Monday night ' training flights ' for potential New members at the modest fee of £5.00 per flight using the buddy box setup.

After 3 training sessions we would expect people to know if they would like to continue R/C modelling, and become a member of the WRMC.

Buddy Box training assistance can be given to members using their own heli provided they use Futaba Radio systems.

Advisors are available to assist you in the correct setup of machine, configuration of radio and flying your heli.

Heli training is held Monday evenings 6.00pm till dusk/9:00pm, May - September.

Training continues on Saturdays from midday using members own aircraft with the assistance of our club instructors depending on availabilty.

With reference to BMFA Handbook 2007 Page 30 & 31.

It cannot be stressed enough that a model helicopter must have a higher degree of safety built in than perhaps any other flying model. Because the BMFA feels so strongly about this the following comprehensive guide is set out. Please read pages 30 & 31 of the BMFA Handbook 2007 .This is in addition to the regular R/C safety code ..........
